Skylar TB gelding

Sklylar is a handsome Gray Thoroughbred gelding. He raced at one time then changed careers by coming a show hunter. The family that owned him loved and enjoyed him but he slowly became lame and the problem was not solved after very much money was spent by their local veterinarian and full xrays and work up at UGA. Paying board for Skylar at a show barn was proving expensive so he was donated to the rescue hoping we could help him. A longtime volunteer, Marilyn,took Skylar on as her personal project due to her devotion to the horse. After paying expenses for chiropractic services, veterinarian costs, training and care, Marilyn now feels he is ready to find that special someone that he needs in his life.
